Services

Eight services. One standard.

From a single backsplash detail to a whole-home rebuild, every project is led by the same team and held to the same finish. Below, the full scope of what Westgold designs and builds across Clark County.

Custom kitchen with quarter-sawn oak cabinetry and stone countertops
01 — Kitchen Remodels

Kitchens that earn their keep.

The most-used room in the house deserves to be the most considered. We design kitchens around how you actually cook, host, and live — then build them to last decades, not seasons. From quarter-sawn oak cabinetry to honed-stone counters and integrated appliance packages, every detail is specified, sourced, and installed by our own crew.

  • Custom and semi-custom cabinetry — paint-grade, stained hardwood, rift-and-quartered veneer
  • Stone, quartz, and solid-wood countertops with templated edge profiles
  • Appliance specification and integration (Sub-Zero, Wolf, Miele, Thermador)
  • Lighting design — ambient, task, and accent layered together
  • Plumbing, electrical, and HVAC modifications coordinated in-house
  • Tile, stone slab, and millwork backsplashes

Typical investment: $85,000 – $250,000+ depending on scope, finish level, and whether walls or systems are moved. Every estimate is line-item.

Spa-style bathroom with marble tile and freestanding tub
02 — Bathroom Renovations

Spa standards, built to code.

Bathrooms are unforgiving — wet, tight, code-heavy, and full of edges where finishes meet. We treat them like the precision projects they are: full waterproofing assemblies, custom shower pans, integrated lighting, and tile work set by craftsmen who measure every grout line.

  • Full demolition through finish — including subfloor and waterproofing
  • Schluter-Kerdi and hot-mopped shower assemblies
  • Custom tile and stone — large-format, mosaic, slab
  • Heated floors, towel warmers, steam showers
  • Custom vanities, medicine cabinets, and millwork
  • Code-compliant ventilation, lighting, and accessibility upgrades

Typical investment: $35,000 – $120,000 depending on size, fixture grade, and whether the layout is re-planned.

Whole-home renovation in progress with timber framing and natural light
03 — Whole-Home Renovations

Old bones, new life.

Whole-home work is where craft and project management meet. We sequence selective demolition, structural changes, systems upgrades, and finish work across months without losing the thread — or the budget. You'll have one project manager, one schedule, and weekly walk-throughs from day one to punch list.

  • Structural — beams, walls, foundation reinforcement, seismic retrofits
  • Full systems — electrical service upgrades, re-plumbs, HVAC, insulation
  • Window, door, siding, and roofing replacement
  • Kitchen, bath, and primary suite within a single coordinated phase plan
  • Historic-sensitive interventions for older Vancouver and Clark County homes
  • Energy and envelope improvements — Energy Trust eligible work

Typical investment: $400,000 – $1.5M+. Phased schedules and live-in vs. move-out plans developed during pre-construction.

Detached accessory dwelling unit with cedar siding and metal roof
04 — ADU Design-Build

A second home on your lot.

Accessory dwelling units are some of the highest-leverage square footage you'll ever build. We design and permit detached, attached, and conversion ADUs across Clark County — handling site planning, utilities, setbacks, and Clark County's evolving ADU rules so you don't have to.

  • Detached new construction (DADU) — slab or crawlspace
  • Attached additions and over-garage units
  • Basement and garage conversions
  • Full design, permitting, and utility coordination
  • Short-term rental and long-term rental ready packages
  • Universal design / aging-in-place options

Typical investment: $220,000 – $475,000 turnkey, depending on size, finish level, and site conditions. Conversions can land lower.

Commercial tenant improvement build-out with exposed ceilings and feature lighting
05 — Commercial Tenant Improvements

Build-outs on schedule.

For owners and tenants across Clark County: retail, restaurant, office, and medical TI work delivered on the schedule your lease demands. We work nights and weekends when the lease requires, and coordinate directly with property managers and local AHJs.

  • Retail, restaurant, café, and salon build-outs
  • Professional office and medical / dental fit-outs
  • ADA upgrades and code compliance
  • Demising walls, glazing, storefronts, and signage coordination
  • Specialty MEP — grease traps, exhaust hoods, dedicated circuits
  • After-hours and phased construction in occupied buildings

Typical investment: $80 – $400 per square foot depending on use, finishes, and MEP scope. Lease-deadline-aware scheduling on every job.

New custom home under construction
06 — New Construction

Custom homes, from grade up.

For clients who already own land — or are choosing it now — Westgold builds a small number of custom single-family homes each year. We work with your architect or bring our design team in from the start, with a focus on Pacific Northwest vernacular, durable envelopes, and quiet luxury inside.

  • Site evaluation, utility planning, and pre-construction budgeting
  • Architect coordination or in-house design-build
  • Foundation, framing, and envelope built by our own crew
  • High-performance assemblies — continuous insulation, rainscreens
  • Smart home, audio-visual, and lighting integration
  • Landscape, hardscape, and outdoor living coordination

Typical investment: $650 – $1,200+ per square foot turnkey, exclusive of land. Limited to a few homes per year.

Material samples — stone, wood veneer, and tile laid out on a workbench
07 — Design & Material Selection

Drawings, finishes, decisions.

Every Westgold project includes design and material selection in-house. You'll work with the same team who builds the project — so what's drawn is what gets built, and what's selected is what shows up. No translation loss between design intent and finished result.

  • Space planning and 2D / 3D drawings for permit and construction
  • Curated finish boards — cabinetry, stone, tile, plumbing, hardware, lighting
  • Showroom visits coordinated and accompanied
  • Color, paint, and stain consulting
  • Furniture, art, and styling direction (on request)
  • Coordination with outside architects and interior designers

Investment: Design fees are credited against construction when you build with us. Standalone design engagements available for clients building elsewhere.

Craftsman finishing custom millwork in a residential workshop
08 — Repairs & Carpentry

Small jobs, done right.

Not every project is a full renovation. Westgold keeps a dedicated finish-carpentry and repair crew for the smaller work that still demands the same standard — trim, doors, water damage, dry rot, custom built-ins, and the punch list of a house that's been waiting a year for the right hands.

  • Custom built-ins, shelving, mantels, and wainscoting
  • Door and window replacement
  • Trim, baseboard, and crown moulding
  • Water damage, dry rot, and structural carpentry repairs
  • Decks, stairs, and railings
  • Punch lists and post-renovation refinement

Typical investment: $2,500 – $40,000. Fixed-bid where possible, time-and-materials where scope is genuinely unknown — disclosed up front.
